Blood Donation Camp by Kathleen Kamal Raisani Foundation Brings Hope for Thalassemia-Affected Children

Quetta, Balochistan – June 18, 2025:
The Kathleen Kamal Raisani Foundation successfully organized a one-day Blood Donation Camp at Sarawan House, bringing together the community to support children suffering from thalassemia. The event was held with the generous support of Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Raisani, Chairman of Balochistan Peace Forum, in collaboration with Fatmeed Foundation, Blood Heroes, students of Balochistan University, and a team of committed volunteers.

Addressing a Critical Need

Thalassemia patients require regular blood transfusions to survive, and the camp focused on meeting this urgent medical need. In just one day, over 100 donors stepped forward, contributing life-saving blood that will directly benefit children battling the disorder across the region.

Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani’s Appeal

Speaking at the closing of the camp, senior politician and former senator Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Khan Raisani emphasized the importance of regular blood donations:

“Blood donated here will surely help save someone’s life. Donating blood every three to four months can make a significant difference and provide vital support to those in need. Saving one life means saving all of humanity.”

He thanked the hundreds of volunteers and donors who came forward, acknowledging their role in humanity’s service.
