Kathleen Kamal Raisani Foundation’s Efforts to Empower Women Praised by Dr. Rababa Khan Bilidi

Activity Report: On September 5, 2024, the Adviser to Chief Minister Balochistan on Women Development, Dr. Rababa Khan Bilidi, met with the leadership of the Kathleen Kamal Raisani Foundation (KKRF) to discuss pivotal initiatives aimed at enhancing facilities for women, promoting overseas skill opportunities, and increasing financial literacy in Balochistan.

During the meeting, Dr. Bilidi emphasized the importance of equipping women with essential skills and financial knowledge, viewing these as vital tools for self-sufficiency and social development. She also highlighted the review of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Women Development Department and KKRF, stressing the need for stronger communication between related institutions and the department. This, she noted, would enable women across Balochistan to better access services designed for their welfare.

Dr. Bilidi expressed her admiration for the proactive approach and dedication of KKRF in uplifting women and noted that the foundation’s initiatives are playing a commendable role in the region’s progress. She pledged full support from the Department of Women Development, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to empower women across the province.
